This course is on-line and face-to-face. You will take your Hunters Safety Course on-line. You may register at: cpw.state.co.us Click on LEARN at the top of the page, under Hunter Education click on Classes Online. You will then attend the required completion course at the CMC Rifle Campus with Brian Grey from the DOW. Children must be 12 years old by 5/30/15 and accompanied by a parent. At registration you must provide full name, date of birth, address, phone and, if you have one, an email address.

Seasonal Gardening Tips @ Off Campus Field Location

Class Description:

Come learn the how to’s of vegetable gardening, planting and nurturing of flowers, maintaining a green lawn, trees and shrubs. Learn methods for controlling wildlife problems. We’ll be specifically focusing on the Parachute/Battlement Mesa area. Class will be held at the Battlement Mesa True Value. Each participant will receive a 10% discount on the purchase of $30.00 or more on lawn and garden items not already on sale. Class will be held outside, weather permitting; please dress accordingly. Wire Extravagaza @ CMC in Aspen

Class Description

Each day will be an adventure using metal wire, of different sizes, to create exciting pieces of jewelry. Start with basic wire wrapping, chain making, and jump rings; then move on to head pins, ear wires, and simple soldering and hand-forming techniques. Students will come away with several beautiful pieces of jewelry. Examples of possible finished pieces include an Etruscan link bracelet, hoop earrings, or a group of stacking rings. Students are responsible for metals supplies which can be purchased at the front desk at a bulk, discounted rate of $70. Supplies should be purchased before first day of class.
