District 7, Eagle County Trustee
Eagle County trustee and CMC Board President Glenn Davis joined the Colorado Mountain College Board of Trustees in November 2009. Previously, the longtime Colorado resident, banker and community volunteer served on the CMC Foundation Board for five years. During his time serving the foundation, the foundation piloted the HERO Scholarship at the Edwards campus.
His first exposure to the mission of the college came with his work helping to select recipients of the Alpine Bank Latino/Hispanic Scholarship.
Davis, who earned a bachelor’s degree in history from Lake Forest College in Chicago, has worked at Alpine Bank since 1988. For 14 years he served as regional president for the Eagle and Routt county areas; he is currently chief retail officer, overseeing all retail functions of 37 locations of Alpine Bank. He enjoys skiing with his family, including his wife, Rebecca, and their two sons.
He also devotes time as a board member for the Ski and Snowboard Club Vail, the Vail Mountain School and the Vail Valley Partnership. In the warmer months, the New Hampshire native likes to bike and play golf.
