Admission and Enrollment Checklist

Take these steps to complete your admission and enrollment at Colorado Mountain College

  • Admission Application
Complete and submit the Colorado Mountain College (CMC) Admission Application either online or at the CMC location you want to attend. There is no cost to apply.
  • Academic Transcripts
The college/university you attended must send your official transcripts directly to CMC for evaluation. Send to: Colorado Mountain College, Registrar’s Office, 802 Grand Avenue, Glenwood Springs, CO, 81601.
  • Test Scores (if applicable)
Many college credit courses require students to be prepared in reading, English and mathematics. Submit your scores if you have taken the ACT or SAT tests within the last five (5) years or make arrangements to take the Accuplacer placement test.
  • Immunization Records (if applicable)
If you are enrolling at a residential campus (Glenwood Spring – Spring Valley, Leadville or Steamboat Springs), Colorado law requires first-year college students born after January 1, 1957, to submit proof of measles, mumps, and rubella vaccination.
  • Seek Advising
Not all students will need academic advising but it is a good idea if you are seeking a certificate or degree. Make an appointment with a CMC College Counselor. They will help you set up the appropriate class schedule.
  • Choose and Secure Your Financing Option(s)
You can pay in full or apply for Federal financial aid, scholarships, grants or the FACTS payment plan. There is money available to help pay for tuition and other expenses.
  • Register for Classes
Register for the class or classes you wish to take by searching WebAdvisor for the current or upcoming semester. See the class schedule to review your options.
  • Attend a New Student Orientation
Check with the campus you plan to attend to see if they offer a new student orientation. It is a great way to get off to a great start on your educational journey.
