New Student Registration & Orientation at Colorado Mountain College at Spring Valley
New Student Registration (NSR) is January 11-12, 2018
Now that you have made the decision to attend the Spring Valley campus, it is time to take the next step and attend New Student Registration (NSR) & New Student Orientation. During NSR you will learn about academic programs and campus life, meet with an advisor, and register for classes.
All incoming student are required to attend a Registration and Orientation. Parents are encouraged to attend as well. Come to NSR ready to work and have fun.
It is crucial to your success that you are placed in the classes that are right for you. We focus on academics by assessing your current English, math, reading and writing.
Any student who has not placed into college level English, math and reading with ACT or SAT scores or is not transferring-in college course work in English and math, must take the Accuplacer computerized placement assessment. The Accuplacer test will be offered during NSR.
All incoming students for the 2018 Spring Semester must attend one the following NSR sessions:
New Student Registration (NSR) – January 11-12, 2018
Those students who will be living in the residence hall will move in Wednesday evening, January 10. NSR will begin the afternoon of the 11 and will continue until trough the afternoon of Friday, January 12. Students must RSVP by January 6.
On-campus lodging is not available in the residence hall for guests during this session. There is a fee associated with NSR/O.
New Student Orientation (NSO) – January 12-13-14
New Student Orientation introduces students to campus resources, strategies for success in college, and opportunities for fun. All students who plan to reside in the residence hall are required to attend NSO, January 12-13-14, 2018.
