Join us for a 60-minute live online webinar via Blackboard Collaborate that will introduce CMC faculty to grading in Canvas. We will demonstrate the Canvas Gradebook and SpeedGrader. This is not a hands-on training. This course assumes that participants already have some experience using Canvas, or have taken Canvas: Basics Online or another Canvas training. We will address:
- the kinds of graded items that Canvas offers
- a brief introduction to the Gradebook and its features
- how to find, launch, and use the Canvas SpeedGrader to grade Assignments and Discussions.
- inputting grades, messaging students, and muting assignments in the Gradebook.
- We will conclude with Q&A regarding grading in Canvas.
You can participate from the comfort of your home or office. This is not a hands-on course, so there is no need for you to access Canvas before or during this overview. Simply attend and see how easy it is to use the Canvas Learning Management System (LMS) by Instructure to provide your students with their grades and monitor their performance.
