Introduction to Natural History is a survey of the natural world, including climate, geology, soils, aquatic and terrestrial ecology, biogeography, and evolution, with an emphasis on Colorado. The course focuses on the relationship between the physical and biological components of the environment and how these affect, and have been affected by, human existence. Dr. Allen Crockett has 40 years of experience in Colorado as an ecologist and geologist and has taught college courses as an adjunct or visiting instructor. This course includes a required field trip on Saturday, October 25. Text required.
