Energy Industry Training Locations and Directions

Parachute training takes place at the CMC Parachute Center.

Directions: Exit I-70 at Parachute exit. Drive north into Parachute, and turn left at First Street. Drive ½ block and see Subway on the right. From Subway restaurant, start out going SOUTHWEST on 1st Street toward RAILROAD AVE. Turn right onto N PARACHUTE AVE. End at 281 N PARACHUTE AVE. The CMC Parachute Center is the second yellow building on the left.

Grand Junction training takes place at the Western Colorado Community College (WCCC) also known as the old “U-TECH” facility.

Directions: From Barnes and Noble bookstore east of the Mesa Mall, start out going EAST on PATTERSON (“F Road”) toward COMMERCE BLVD. Turn LEFT onto 25TH Road. Turn RIGHT onto BLICHMAN AVE. Turn LEFT into back parking lot at BLDG B.

Rifle training courses take place at Colorado Mountain College – West Garfield Campus in Rifle.

Directions: From I-70 eastbound, take the main Rifle exit 90 and enter the roundabout. Exit the second roundabout at Airport Road, and continue traveling east approximately 3 miles to the campus. From I-70 westbound, take the Mamm Creek/Airport Road, exit 94. Turn left and travel south over I-70. Turn right on Airport Road/CR 352, and travel approximately 2 miles (go past the Garfield County Airport) to the campus on the left side of the road.
