Excel 2010 Level II @ CMC in Edwards

Class Description

The emphasis in this second level class is on charts, databases and the advanced calculating capabilities of Excel. Learn to create and modify charts, format chart objects, and use graphic objects to enhance charts. Learn to sort and filter data on both single and multiple levels. Filtering, or asking questions of the database (querying), is the fundamental way to extract information from a database. Advanced formulas, calculating between worksheets, and pivot tables will be covered. If you make graphs or work with simple lists and databases, this class is for you.

This course blends financial education with life planning to help you build wealth, align your money with your values, and achieve your retirement lifestyle goals. You will learn five strategies to manage investment risks, 11 ways you can save money on this year’s taxes, important questions to ask before buying insurance coverage, how to invest in and take money out of your company’s retirement plan, as well as how to determine the savings you need to retire today or in the future. You will learn Evernote’s simple but powerful organizing tools that will allow you to find information fast, keep important items in front of you, and allow you to get things done efficiently. When done properly, a PowerPoint presentation can effectively deliver your message and help your audience understand the information you are presenting. This entry-level class will introduce PowerPoint and show you how to create an effective presentation. You will format text on slides, add graphics and photos to a presentation and modify them, and add tables and charts to present data in a structured form. You will walk away with a presentation that is ready to deliver. You should be familiar with the Windows environment prior to enrollment.
