As one of the first campuses, archives extend back to the planning and founding of CMC. Attendees will enjoy seeing some of the historic images from the founding of CMC and learning about how these will be digitized and be made available through our library system, Marmot. Jordan Fields from Marmot will explain how that will work and show some examples from the digitization project. John Major, an archivist from CMC Steamboat Springs, will show how he is helping the CMC libraries get their archives in order and accessible, Christine Whittington (library director) and Bob Hartzell (retired faculty) will present items from the collection, and Ed Chusid will discuss historic items from Central Services.
