To be eligible for this grand prize, CMC students have to commit to taking two one-hour exams (one in the fall and one in the spring) covering topics in mathematics, not to exceed Precalculus. In addition, the top five scorers at CMC will represent our college to be ranked among other community colleges regionally and nationally.

Must have successfully completed a minimum of 12 semester hours (or equivalent quarter hours) of community college (two-year college) coursework by the end of the academic term in which the second exam is given. Four-year students, high school students and previous recipients of the grand prize are not eligible. Official transcripts and a letter signed by the student and local moderator certifying eligibility will be required in order to award the prize.
