Join Karen Kaemmerling, Instructional Chair for Online Learning, for an open discussion about the Online Instructor Evaluation and Mentoring Plan and the Online Instructor-Self Review Guide. These protocols and documents were established by the Online Course Quality Task Force in Fall 2013. Explore Quality Matters design expectations and how they are incorporated in the CMC Online Course Design Checklist. Participants will discuss the purpose of these documents, and brainstorm effective online teaching techniques based on Chickering’s and Gamson’s Seven Principles for Good Practice in Undergraduate Education.
