Library Research Workshops
Location: Pinnacle 325 – Learning Lab
2 Workshops per day: 9-10am and 12-1pm except where noted
Students who RSVP at least 48 hours prior will be fed. Those who do not RSVP can watch us eat.

SGA has sponsored 3 days a week for CMC Students, Faculty, & Staff to swim for FREE at the Lake County Aquatic Center. Just remember to bring your CMC ID with you!!

March is Women’s History Month
The spring 2014 Local Author Series honors local women authors in celebration of Women’s History Month
Food and beverage is provided to attendees by the CMC in Leadville Library.

Leadville resident and prolific author Bellhouse reads from her work and engages in audience discussion.

Some of the best things in life are free! This session is an overview of the free Google Docs cloud-based office suite of online software applications which can be used on their own and inside Canvas too.
Check out this example of how a Google Doc works in Canvas and this example of how a Google Presentation can be embedded in Canvas.
We will address:
- Creating Google Docs Documents, Spreadsheets, and Presentations
- Sharing Google Docs with others and keeping them private
- Commenting on Google Docs
- Google Drive
- Using the Revision History feature in Google Docs
- Next steps and more ideas for using Google Docs and Google Drive
There are deadlines for each day’s work to keep the group moving forward together, but participants may work on the assignments at any time of day or night, from any computer (PC or Mac) with an Internet connection and either Firefox, Safari, Chrome, or Internet Explorer. Try Google Docs now and get your free account set up ahead of time at drive.google.com.

The Climax gym & climbing wall will be open late on Tuesday & Thursday for student use ONLY!

The Climbing Wall will be closed to the public on Thursday Feb. 27th and Friday Feb. 28th for the Collegiate Climbing Competition. Please plan accordingly!
