July 2014 – May 2019
All incoming students should first plan to attend one of the three listed Registration/Testing days:
June 27th, July 25th, or August 21st
These one day events will begin with a morning of placement testing followed by class registration in the
afternoon. This is your opportunity to lock in your classes for Fall semester. If getting to campus for one of the Registration days is not possible, please call our Admissions/Registration office to make other arrangements such as a phone call with your advisor.

Create a welding project in our state-of-the-art lab at Rifle HighSchool. This is an introductory workshop; no previous welding experience is required. You will have a choice of making a piece of garden art or a wine rack. Students must wear leather boots or shoes and long denim pants. Additional safety gear will be provided. On Friday, class hours are 5:30 p – 8:30p. On Saturday, class hours are 8:00a – 5:00p with a one hour break for lunch.
Explore the importance of flowers and plants in your world! This class conducts experiments in how water moves through plants, flower dissection, leaf chromatography, and why butterflies and bees are good for your garden. Feel free to bring your own leaf sampels- but leave the bees at home! This class is for kids 7-9 years of age.
Have you considered taking your camera off the automatic setting and actually creating a photo? Using shutter speed, aperature, depth of field and depth of focus, you can MAKE a photo rather than taking whatever the camera wants to give you. Beginners will learn the basis of “Getting Off Automatic” and mid-level students will learn techniques they never knew existed. There is something for everyone as each student will be given individual attention. The class will also introduce the business component of photography. You must have a camera capable of being taken off automatic for this class. A list of additional required supplies is available from the Rifle Campus front desk. Class days are Fri. & Mon., 6p – 8:30p and Sat. & Sun., 9:30a – 8:30p.
