This course examines the stance in philosophy known as skepticism, which Georg Cristoph Lichtenberg (a favorite philosopher of Leo Tolstoy and Albert Einstein) described with his aphorism, Nothing can contribute more to peace of soul than the lack of any opinion whatever.” Students will explore the appearance of this paradoxical stance and its effects within the history of Western thought. Andy Hofer, MSPT, with St. Vincent Hospital will be hosting a conditioning seminar on Thursday Nov. 14th from 6:00pm-7:30pm.
He will cover:
– What works, and what doesn’t work
– How to BEST prepare for your riding season
– The “Do’s” & “Don’ts” of ski conditioning
– Increase strength & endurance while decreasing risk of injury
