November – December 2013
Colorado Mountain College Sustainability Students and Faculty invite you to attend their Fall 2013 Gathering
About the film
Honeybees have been mysteriously disappearing across the planet. Known as Colony Collapse Disorder, this phenomenon has brought beekeepers to crisis in an industry responsible for producing apples, broccoli, cherries, and a hundred other fruits and vegetables. The film follows beekeepers as they work together to find a solution that will save the bees.
Thursday, November 14 at 7:00 pm in the Finkel Auditorium of Breckenridge’s campus
The screening of the important 2009 documentary, Vanishing of the Bees, will be followed by a demonstration and discussion of local bee issues led by Summit County ‘bee wrangler’ Larry Gilliland.
This Sustainability Gathering is free and open to CMC staff, faculty, and students.
