What’s in your backpack? @ CMC in Carbondale
Jan 27 @ 5:00 pm

Photo of Man with BackpackEach of us has been blessed with some knowledge or wisdom that someone else was generous enough to share with us.  CMC would like to honor this spirit of generosity by inviting you to the inaugural semester of our new Gift of Learning Series, a number of free lectures and workshops presented by CMC students and staff at our Lappala Center in Carbondale during the spring 2014 semester.  Topics cover a wide variety of subjects.

Monday January 27 5pm
“What’s In Your Backpack” – Craig Farnum, College Counselor
Craig will examine the attitudes, values, and beliefs that we carry around with us in our invisible backpacks.  He will look at how the “stuff” in our backpacks influences how we evaluate people and situations. What happens when our behaviors align with our attitudes, values and beliefs? What happens when they do not align?

To learn more, call 963-2172. Everyone is welcome to attend. There is no charge and no need to R.S.V.P.
