SGA now meets Wed. at 4:30 in Pinnacle Lounge. All students, faculty, and staff are invited and encouraged to attend open meetings and are welcome to present proposals for funding and/or programs.

Microsoft Basics for Beginner @ Glenwood Springs

Emphasis: Microsoft Office 2010. Do you use a computer but have little or no experience with Microsoft Office programs? Join us and learn the basics of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Powerpoint. Create and edit documents, copy and paste, develop a file management system. Set up spreadsheets, sort information and create formulas and charts. Develop PowerPoint presentations. Learn to use these valuable tools. Meets Wednesdays, 3/19-4/2. Cost: $45. Refund: 3/17.

SAC_LogoThe Student Activities Council (SAC) will be meeting every other Thursday over lunch (12:00pm-1:00pm) in the Coronado Cafe.  Grab some lunch and meet up to help us plan fun and exciting activities for students.

The purpose of SAC is the assist in planning quality and balanced programming in the areas of educational and cultural events, entertainment, recreation, and service to the school and community.

Medival Literature & Culture – Part 2 @ Carbondale

Class Description

Immerse yourself in the literature of the Anglo-Saxons, a migratory, Germanic people caught between two worlds in the land of middle-earth: their ancestral homeland on the North Sea and the green isle of Britain. Explore the boundaries between strength and frailty, allegiance and honor and the isolation of exile: the fleeting transience of a short life and the hope of eternal rest: the fellowship of kinfolk and the bitterness of blood-feuds: the rise of usurpers and the fall of virtuous retainers. Experience epic poetry, elegis, riddles, sacred texts and historical prose while contemplating the identity of a civilized people that lived over a thousand years ago. This course will be offered twice, once from 2/20-3/6 and again from 3/20-4/10. Different texts will be read in each course, so students can take either course or both. Meets Thursdays, 3/20-4/10. Cost: $118. Refund date: 3/18.

Hip Hop Dance Class @ Altitudes Health & Fitness

Late Night Gym & Climbing Wall @ Climax Gym

The Climax gym & climbing wall will be open late on Tuesday & Thursday for student use ONLY!

Due to school breaks and special events, Late Night Gym & Wall may occasionally be canceled. Please check back regularly to see when the gym & wall will be open.

PLEASE NOTE

The Climbing Wall will be closed to the public on Thursday Feb. 27th and Friday Feb. 28th for the Collegiate Climbing Competition.  Please plan accordingly!
