Photo of first aid cross on red backgroundColorado Mountain College has created a new, hands-on workshop designed to assist those who need help signing up for health care under the Affordable Care Act. Participants will compare plans and coverage and also learn how to navigate the Connect for Health website.

The workshop will be offered twice: Feb. 28 and Mar. 3, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., at Colorado Mountain College in Glenwood Springs (1402 Blake Ave.). The cost of the workshop is $15.

Instructor Steven Reynolds has worked in the health and wellness industry in the Roaring Fork Valley since 1991. He has been integrally involved in the work of health care reform since 2008 and served on a Club 20 team to provide one of the top proposals to the Senate Bill 208 Commission. He holds a license to sell health insurance.
