Looking for a Summer Job?Now’s the time to start thinking about securing a local summer job. Our Summer Job Fair is the perfect opportunity to meet local employers who are looking to hire summer seasonal help.

Meet up with them between noon and 1 p.m. in the Calaway building rotunda. Some of the employers who will attend include: the Rec Centers in both Glenwood Springs and Carbondale, FedEx, The Little Nell from Aspen, Glenwood Caverns, the Hot Springs Pool and more.

Class Description

This class provides a total cardio and muscle body workout. Aerobics include both step and kickboxing moves followed by conditioning using fitballs, dumbbells, body bars and resistance bands to enhance balance, stability, and core strength. There is also a focus on abdominal strengthening and stretching. All of these exercises may be adapted for any fitness level, so all are welcome! Please bring a water bottle and exercise mat to class. Meets Mondays & Wednesdays, 3/17-4/30. Cost: $81. Refund: 3/7.

This class is a form of Hatha Yoga that utilizes bio mechanical principles of alignment together with breath and a celebration of the heart. Each class is focused on a heart-related theme that brings awareness of how yoga brings us off the mat and into the world. The class is influenced by the principles of Anusara Yoga, which empowers the student to find a sense of ease, and move into challenging poses. Meets Mondays & Wednesdays, 3/17-4/30. The Wednesday class is 15 minutes longer and ends at 6:45. Please bring a yoga mat and blanket to class. Cost: $91. Refund date: 3/7.
