Welcome to the 2014 golf season. Come enjoy the fun this summer at Lakota Canyon Golf Course. These Thursday evening clinics will consist of some one-on-one and group instruction, range work, putting, chipping, bunker and golf etiquette. Treats and prizes will also be provided. So don’t be shy, clinics are open to all ability levels with 3 classes working on fundamentals and the last class having fun on the course! Meets the standards for recertification of a Wilderness First Responder certification. Topics to be included are CPR, patient assessment, trauma, medical, and environmental emergiencies. This course is required to maintain a current Wilderness First Responder certification which must be recertified every three years. Certifications are sponosored by Desert Mountain Medicine (WFR) and the American Heart Association (Professional Rescuer CPR). The supplemental course charge includes textbook, expendable materials, and certification fees. The Saturday and Sunday meetings will take place in the classroom and outdoors. The supplemental course charge is nonrefundable. Minimum age 18. Meets Friday, May 9, from 6-9:50pm and Saturday and Sunday, May 10 and 11, from 8am-6pm. Cost: one credit hour of tuition plus a nonrefundable $160 course charge.
