Though Tai Chi 1 is highly recommended first, it is not required, as we will focus on moves such as parry and punch, brushed knee and other fun, dynamic moves. The gentle form focuses on health, body awareness, loving kindness and alignment of body and mind. It is a moving meditation, which has been proven effective to increase immune system functioning and improve balance. We build on previous steps and deepen our understanding of Tai Chi principles and how they apply to our entire lives.

Chen style is the original tai chi style, reflecting more dynamic & complex martial art movements than Sun Style. It includes more punches, spiral movements & internal force. Chen Style is more demanding than Sun Style, but a perfect complement to Sun Style. Anyone is welcome to take both classes, for a more balanced approach to the practice of tai chi. As in the Sun Style class, we will break down each movement slowly in order to build a proper foundation for practice.
