Brief synopsis: Heidi Ahrens hails from French Canada by way of Brooklyn, among other places. She graduated from Prescott College in Arizona with an undergraduate degree in Experiential Education and later earned her Masters in Education from Brooklyn College. Heidi has taught in remote villages in Canada and inner city schools in New York. Her extensive travels have taken her to Europe, Brazil and Costa Rica. She has also worked with a variety of educational centers including Outward Bound. Heidi likes to spend her spare time with her husband Erik and her infant daughter Coralie Aziah. You can find them exploring the wilderness, or the cultural scenes around Colorado or in various places Back East.
