Move Ahead with Career Development

Colorado Mountain College in Breckenridge and Dillon offers  personalized support to  integrate your educational experiences  with your career plans. This is vital to your success in today’s competitive environment.

Career Development begins as early as your first semester, assisting  you in exploring your degree and career options.   We offer opportunities to work on your career development throughout your college experience.

Career Counseling is available for current or prospective students with college counselors Jean Kramlich (Breckenridge) and Mary Ann Looby (Dillon). Services may include personality and/or interest assessments, values clarification, identification of marketable skills and exploring a major or career. This is an important step for freshman or students changing their majors. Make an appointment at the front desk:

Career Workshops are offered in the fall and spring semesters. Workshops topics may include career exploration, leveraging your strengths, creating a personal brand, resume tips, career and job search strategies and more. Workshops are helpful for students in their final year of their program, or whenever a career or job transition is a priority. Check the non-credit section of the Breckenridge/Dillon Class Schedule under Career Building for more information. All workshops are free for students and alumni.

Internships are available for both associates and bachelors level students. Gaining experience related to your degree is a plus for your resume, and recommended the last year of your program. See an academic advisor for more information, including getting credit towards your degree.
