Private Culinary Classes
The Colorado Mountain College Culinary Institute at Breckenridge is now offering private classes. Book a class for that special occasion. This is an ideal venue for Birthday Parties, Book Clubs, Bachelorette Parties, Company Christmas Parties and just getting together with friends.
Choose from a number of menus or work with your private chef and create a menu tailored to your particular desires. Popular classes have included many classes from our International Series such as Thailand, France, Eastern Mediterranean, Italy and India. Private classes are also a perfect way to spend time with your fellow workers with our team building classes.
Classes include a private chef, hands-on cooking and dinner. With private parties you may also bring your own wine to enjoy with dinner.
Classes are limited to 12 participants and the cost is $50 per person with a $500 minimum.

Spend an evening in Paris gazing at the Eiffel Tower as we learn to prepare Leeks Vinaigrette, Pommes Frites, Ratatouille, Chicken Fricasse with Tarragon and Mushrooms, Potage Escargot and topping it all off with a delicious Tarte au Pruneaux.

Pay tribute to Julia in preparing items from her book Mastering the Art of French Cooking. Prepare dishes such as Soupe a Oignon Gratinee, her legendary Boeuf Bourguignon and a classic Apple Tart from Normandy.
The sequel to our most popular vegetarian class takes another look at bringing vegetables to the center of the plate. Learn to prepare a variety of wonderful vegetarian dishes ranging from appetizers to main courses and even desserts.
This class concentrates on legendary products such as Parmesana Reggiano, Prosciutto de Parma, and prized balsamic vinegars. Savor authentic dishes such as Braised Chicken with Wild Mushrooms, Classic Polenta, Wild Field Green Salads with Prosciutto, and Pan-Seared Duck with Apples and Cream.

Knife Skills is one of our most popular classes and is recommended for anyone who is serious about improving their cooking skills. Learn about the selection, care and proper use of cutlery. Cutlery will be provided by CMC. This is a hands-on class with an emphasis on developing basic knife skills while learning classical vegetable cuts.
Located just north of Lyon, Burgundy is home to some of the finest red wines in the world and is truly the bread basket of France. Learn to prepare classic Burgundian dishes such as Coq au Vin, Boeuf Bourguignon, French Onion Soup Gratinee, and Savory Fruit Tarts.
