Testing on the Edwards Campus

College and Community Testing Options Available

At Colorado Mountain College in Edwards, we offer testing for current and potential students, as well as the community at large. You can take the GED, Accuplacer, Accuplacer for CEPA, or one of the hundreds of tests offered through Pearson VUE.

Accuplacer Testing

Find out what level of college courses you are ready for with our Accuplacer tests. Fee per test subject is a non-refundable $10 (if you are taking all tests — math, English and reading — your fee is $30).  Payment is due before testing.  The fee for non-CMC students is the same.  The retest fee per test subject is a non-refundable $10.

You must have an application on file prior to testing. You can download an application for admission  (pdf).

For help studying for the Accuplacer, you can use practice tests.

You can also find an Accuplacer study app in the iTunes store or at www.collegeboard.org/accuplacer. The app costs $1.99.

For the latest information about when Accuplacer testing is offered, check out our calendar.

GED Testing

The paper version of the GED ends at the end of 2013. Any student who has begun a paper GED test must finish by the end of December, or they will need to switch to computerized test and begin the entire series again.
See information about the GED test.
