In the last two years, Patty Limerick has hosted the FrackingSENSE lecture series in Boulder and Greeley, attended countless workshops, seminars, and symposia
on oil and gas development, and spoken—and listened—to many diverse audiences taking up this topic. In her opening presentation for the “Community Conversation”
Limerick will pull together the lessons she has drawn from these intense and diverse experiences. Her talk will review the areas of certainty and uncertainty in our knowledge of various aspects of water quality, health risks and hydraulic fracturing. Following the talk there will be a experts forum. Light refreshments and networking to follow.
