Vail Valley at Edwards Housing
Edwards and the surrounding Vail Valley have many options for long-term rentals, though you should anticipate higher rents than what you’d find in an urban Colorado setting like Denver. This campus does not have residence halls, so students usually rent nearby apartments, condos or employee housing throughout Eagle County.
Students often live with roommates to make things more affordable. Those who start in the Fall Semester typically have an easier time finding housing than those who start school in the middle of the ski season (Spring Semester).

It's best to find something near campus, but you may need to extend your search to nearby communities including: Avon, Eagle, Minturn, Vail, and Gypsum.
You may need to make a special trip to the area a few weeks prior to classes starting to view listings and secure a lease. Be prepared to pay first and last month’s rent, as well as a damage deposit. Don’t be surprised if there aren’t many options that allow pets!
In general, if you are looking to work while going to school, many of the resorts in the area offer employee housing. Employee housing is often subsidized by the resorts, allowing you to live, work, learn, and play in the Vail Valley, affordably.
For Vail and Beaver Creek resorts, search current openings and take a look at employee housing options which include:
- Vail
- Beaver Creek (Avon)
For students in the Culinary Arts-Vail Valley program, CMC Edwards has partnered with the Sonnenalp in Vail. This partnership is designed to allow you to work full-time in the culinary industry while still completing your degree in two years. You'll apply directly for positions at the Sonnenalp Hotel. Once employed, you’ll have the same benefits as any other employee which may include housing and ski passes. Learn more about this opportunity.
