June 11, 2014 @ 5:30 pm – 6:15 pm GMT0
Office of Innovations

Join CMC Instructional Designer Loretta Driskel for an introduction and overview of MERLOT, Multimedia Educational Resource for Learning and Online Teaching. MERLOT is a free and open resource repository of peer-reviewed learning materials created for faculty and students in higher education, at merlot.org. Get a taste of how you might use these discipline-specific learning materials – which often include sample assignments- in your online, hybrid or face-to-face classroom. In addition you will see what makes MERLOT stand out among other open educational resources and you will learn how you can become involved in MERLOT to beef up your curriculum vitae and professional standing. This training will provide you with materials and information about integrating these tools to enhance teaching and learning for you and your students.

This is a live webinar that will be held via a Blackboard Collaborate web conference.
