An Ode to Dr. Seuss – Adrian Fielder, CMC Instructional Chair and Carbondale Lappala Center Director

Theodore Geisel is best known, under his pseudonym Dr. Seuss, for changing the face of children’s literature, by making it more accessible, vibrant and fun.  But he was also a politically-engaged and outspoken philosopher who changed the way that millions of people think about some of the most pressing issues of our times, from human rights and world peace to environmental stewardship and inner peace.  Come join Adrian Fielder, site director of the Lappala Center and a former reading specialist, for an educational yet poetic ode to the genius of Dr. Seuss.
