This 8 week series will explore various aspects of wellness and support students in creating positive life changes to feel healthier, happier, and live life with more intention and attention to self-care. Students will take a wellness survey at the beginning and end of the series to help gauge changes made on the journey to enhance day-to-day and overall wellness. The course will delve into aspects of self-care, meditation, yoga, how to say no, how to develop healthy sleep patterns, the importance of taking breaks from technology, the power of intention, and throughout this series will touch on components of the 8 wheels of wellness: Emotional Wellness, Physical Wellness, Mental Wellness, Intellectual Wellness, Occupational Wellness, Financial Wellness, Social Wellness, and Spiritual Wellness. Students will also learn how fun and important it is to celebrate our successes! Students will experience more connection to themselves and others and feel more present in life by implementing what is learned. (Recommendations on books, meditations, essential oils, and guidance on other support tools will be given throughout the series).
