Designed as an introduction to a working knowledge of the target language, cultural behaviors, and values useful in various professional fields such as health care, law enforcement, bilingual education, business, and others.
This course is designed to give teachers a chance to pick up some valuable Spanish skills and not give up their fun summer plans.The class will meet daily for 5 hours a day, creating an immersive learning environment. We will focus on useful vocabulary that will help teacher-student and parent-teacher communication, basic grammar structure, present and past tense, as well as some common idioms and slang. We will also be taking one field trip in the valley. A project/presentation will be due on the 18th or 19th. For questions contact the instructor Meredith at 970-309-9984.
