Thinking in Systems – Ashley Muse, CMC Adjunct Faculty in Sustainability Studies

The way we think has a profound impact on the way we shape the world around us. Any aim of ‘sustainability’ must seek to understand what it means to participate in complex living systems – where mental models of linear cause and effect rarely apply. Systems thinking is an alternative interdisciplinary approach to problem solving that emphasizes patterns of interconnection as a way of finding more powerful leverage for individual and collective action. Please join Ashley Muse, architect and Systems Thinking instructor to find out what systems thinking is all about.
