Wilderness First Responder Refresher

woman responding to ankle injuryMeets the standards for recertification of a Wilderness First Responder certification. Topics to be included are CPR, patient assessment, trauma, medical, and environmental emergencies. This course is required to maintain a current Wilderness First Responder certification, which must be recertified every three years.

Students must drop this class by 11/11 to receive a refund of the tuition. Field meeting dates will take place in the classroom and outdoors. Upon successful completion of this class, students will be awarded certifications in CPR and Wilderness First Responder from Desert Mountain Medicine. Certifications are active for two years. The supplemental course charge includes textbook, expendable materials, and certification fees. The supplemental course charge is nonrefundable. Minimum age 18.
