The Instructional Coordinator (IC), reporting to the Vice President, Rifle Campus and in coordination with college-wide Academic Affairs, supervises the delivery of designated educational programs. The IC provides leadership and administrative oversight of educational programs and ensures the integrity of program objectives, assessment and learning outcomes. The IC develops, organizes and evaluates curriculum; hires, supervises and evaluates faculty; and provides guidance with pedagogy, methodology and mentoring. The IC oversees instructional budgets, as well as program, course and risk management and partners with others to meet the community needs by ensuring the quality and integrity of courses and program. The incumbent will be involved in community, campus and college-wide committees. Included in the oversight for the Rifle Campus may include Business, Sciences, Math and Engineering Real Estate, Outdoor and Physical Education, Health Sciences and Career and Technical Education. This is a 12 month term position.
Pre-requisites for Position (Qualifications Standards and Preferences)
- Education and Training: Master’s Degree in a discipline currently offered at CMC, or Master’s degree and a minimum of 18 graduate credits in a discipline currently offered at CMC
- Experience: Three years related experience, including a minimum of 2 years supervising and administering education programs; and a minimum 1 year of full-time teaching experience and/or five years of adjunct instruction.
