Interactive Video System (IVS) Classroom Technology

Join us for this self-paced training offered online via Canvas. You will learn how to utilize CMC’s Interactive Video System (IVS) classrooms. IVS courses are fully interactive college credit courses delivered via live, real-time television. IVS classrooms extend access to CMC courses by enabling an instructor to teach at one location, while students can attend at another CMC location via an IVS classroom. This training will address:

  • getting started with the IVS technology
  • sharing and viewing of Microsoft PowerPoint presentations or any other non-video application
  • how to record and play back recordings
  • tips for successful video conferencing
  • how to get help with IVS
  • resources for IVS at your local campus

Since this is a self-paced training, participants may participate at any time of day or night, from any computer (PC or Mac) with an Internet connection and either Firefox, Safari, Chrome, or Internet Explorer.
