Under the general supervision of the Library Director, the Library Technician provides clerical/technical services and support for the Campus Library. This position provides bibliographic instructional and information retrieval and reference services, catalogues and classifies materials, instructs/assists users; compiles data; prepares reports; and assists in operations, procedures, and processes for the College Library. Evening and weekend hours may be required.

Pre-requisites for Position (Qualifications Standards)
- Education and Experience: Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution and 1 year related work experience; or, Associate’s Degree or two-year college certificate and 2 years related work experience, or High School Diploma/GED and 4 years related work experience.
- Knowledge of: principles and practices of library science; information technology as it relates to libraries.
- Ability to: organize and prioritize work and handle multiple projects; exceptional verbal, written, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
