Career Ready 101 and Career Ready Colorado Certification

Workshop participants are invited to enroll in Career Ready 101, a comprehensive web based training program that helps prepare participants for success in the career world. Career Ready 101’s curriculum includes over 200 modules participants may choose from including:
- exploring career interests and creating career goals
- resume writing and conducting a job search
- job applications and interviews
- improving basic work readiness skills (English, Math, etc.)
- developing career skills (in areas ranging from telephone etiquette and business writing to basic electricity and fluid mechanics)
Career Ready 101 is organized by subjects, lessons, topics and quizzes. Each of the areas is assigned to participants on an individual basis, according to their particular need or interests. Once participants have been enrolled they can access the program from any computer that has internet access and work at their leisure.
Career Ready Colorado Certificate
Workshop participants also have the opportunity to earn their Career Ready Colorado Certificate. This is a nationally recognized certification through ACT that verifies the holder’s level of proficiency and job readiness to potential employers. The assessment for the certificate is administered free of charge each month at the Go2Work Workshops by Work Force Center staff and is based on Career Ready 101 modules in the areas of Reading for Information, Applied Mathematics, and Locating Information.
