CMC Culinary Institute Puts You in Professional Kitchens
Our partnership with Vail Resorts provides invaluable resort and restaurant experience
At the Culinary Institute, you won’t be stuck in a classroom observing the technique of your instructor. What sets our program apart is the amount of time you spend outside of the classroom, in a variety of world-class kitchens owned and operated by the prestigious Vail Resorts.
While rotating through a minimum of three restaurants, you will build experience and skills working in:
- Intimate fine dining settings with gourmet ingredients and relaxed service
- Ski-in/ski-out casual restaurants where patrons expect quality food quickly
- Large banquet and conference centers that host distinguished clients
Rotations are reviewed every six months. Students are placed based on personal preference, academic performance, job performance and chef/restaurant needs.
Vail Resorts is a premier mountain resort company. Their list of awards and accolades is long and includes many of the restaurants you will be trained in. Side-by-side with their talented and knowledgeable chefs, you will experience a variety of operating environments, food styles and cuisines.
