Liz comes from Aims Community College where she was a professor in the EMS department. Prior to her position at Aims, she spent approximately 15 years as Adjunct Faculty for CMC, teaching a variety of EMS classes from First Aid through Paramedic. During this time Liz also worked on an ambulance, was medical officer with the Summit County Rescue Group, worked for the Vail Valley Medical Center and served twice with the Himalayan Rescue Association staffing a clinic at 14,000 ft. in Nepal.
Earlier experiences included hyperbaric chamber technician at the University of Pennsylvania and street medic in Kansas City, Missouri. Liz also taught Advanced Life Support, Pediatric Advance Life Support and Basic Life Support
at an international conference in Greece.
