NOTE: Colorado Mountain College’s BSN program has been approved by the State of Colorado Department of Higher Education and North Central Higher Learning Commission. CMC has submitted an application for the BSN candidacy status with the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN) and the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE).

Associate of Applied Science Degree in Nursing

Colorado Mountain College’s Associate of Applied Science Degree in Nursing enables graduates to be eligible to apply for the National Council Licensure Examination (NCLEX) for registered nursing. CMC nursing program graduates demonstrate a high success rate at or above the national and state NCLEX pass rate. The CMC nursing program provides students with opportunities to enter the nursing profession.

We emphasize early experiential learning through clinical experiences in a variety of healthcare settings. You will have practical experience working in acute care hospitals, ambulatory care settings, clinics, home health, long-term care facilities, physicians’ offices and other healthcare systems.
