MBA & Bachelor of Marketing, Regis University, Denver. Associate of Applied Science, Ski and Snowboard Business & Associate of Science, Colorado Mountain College, Steamboat
After completing my degrees, I worked for various snowsport companies in areas such as marketing, product design, and sales. I am a passionate skier and have a Level 3 Avalanche certification which I use to help educate students on backcountry travel and safety as part of being the advisor to CMC Backcountry club.
The courses I teach focus on the marketing, manufacturing and media components of the action-sport industry. I have been involved in various marketing and product design projects for brands like Nordica, Helly Hansen, Spyder, Uvex, and more. I bring the knowledge from my previous professional career to the classroom and strive to create real-world situations for my students. The Ski and Snowboard Business (SKB) program, is the only program in the nation focusing on retail, marketing and manufacturing aspects of the action-sport industry.See the CMCSKB website.
