This full time faculty position begins August 2014. The successful candidate is expected to teach 100-400 level courses in Anthropology, Geography, Psychology, Sociology, and/or Sustainability. The full time teaching load is 30 credit hours or equivalent duties per academic year, which may include evening, weekend, or online teaching responsibilities. Additional responsibilities include student advising and participation in various campus and college committees and community outreach. Salary range $59,827 – $73,639 depending on education and higher education teaching experience.

Prerequisites for Position (Qualifications Standards)
- Education and Training: Minimum of a Master’s degree in Anthropology, Geography, Psychology, Sociology, Sustainability, or a closely related discipline OR a Master’s degree with a minimum of 15 credit hours in the one of the listed disciplines. Ph.D. preferred.
- Teaching Experience: minimum of one year full time teaching in higher education or equivalent as part-time instructor at the college level.
- Areas of Teaching and Professional Focus: Applicants should be well prepared to teach a variety of courses in the social sciences disciplines.
- Special Skills or Attributes: experience in variety of teaching delivery modes, excellent written and oral communication skills, flexibility and collegiality. Colorado Mountain College is committed to sustainability as a concept and practice.
