Students work in real kitchens rotating to a different restaurant every six months. Each rotation gives the apprentice exposure to a variety of cuisine, food styles, operating environments, and work experiences.

State Culinary Champions — Again!
The CMC Culinary Institute Student team won the 2012 state championship at the American Culinary Federation State Student Team Culinary Competition on Nov. 18, 2012. This is the second time in three years students from Colorado Mountain College's Culinary Apprenticeship programs have taken first place.
