Connie Selzer, Assistant Professor, received a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry in 1999 from Virginia Tech, her Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 2001 from Johns Hopkins School of Nursing and her Master of Science in Nursing as an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner in 2008 from the University of Virginia.
Connie is currently a doctoral student at UCCS Beth El, working towards a Doctorate of Nursing Practice.
Connie began a career in nursing education as an adjunct in 2009, and has been full time faculty at Colorado Mountain College since 2010. She is currently licensed in the state of Colorado as a Registered Nurse, and her clinical experience includes working in a Level One Surgical-Trauma-Burn Intensive Care Unit at the University of Virginia as well as various travel assignments around the United States.
At the Spring Valley Campus Connie currently teaches Complex Medical-Surgical Nursing I&II, Pharmacology II&IV Therapy and clinical courses, as well as works in the Acute Care and Critical Care Unit at Valley View Hospital.
When Connie is not teaching at CMC she enjoys swimming in the Glenwood Hot Springs Pool with her son Gus, hiking and camping the beautiful mountains of Colorado and traveling.
