Maureen Nuckols, Adjunct Faculty, received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 1971 from University of Cincinnati, her Master of Science in Nursing specializing in Community Health Nursing in 1975 from Boston University, and her Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology in 1985 from University of Denver.
She began her career in nursing education with Colorado Mountain College in 1978, teaching various courses including, EMT, Advanced First Aid, CPR, Human Growth and Development, Parenting, Medical Terminology, Pharmacology III and Medical-Surgical clinicals. Maureen is currently licensed in the state of Colorado as a Registered Nurse.
Maureen has had over 30 years of nursing experience, including work as a staff nurse in the Emergency Department and Respiratory ICU. She has also been head nurse for the Emergency Department, a Nurse/Counselor for Colorado Rocky Mountain School, done Private Practice work at Pathways Counseling Center and has been a counselor for the Advocate Safehouse Project.
Maureen currently teaches Transition to Practical Nursing and Mental Health Clinicals at Colorado Mountain College.
