Title Intro to Avalanches Lecture
Description: This 4-hour classroom session is a required Pre-requisite for the adjoining field session (syn # 73117.) Or, the classroom session can be taken as a stand-alone awareness class. The class covers avalanche awareness, avoidance and rescue techniques. Learn the most common mistakes, rescue techniques, terrain and stability analysis, which rescue equipment works best, human factors involved in accidents, decision tools and survival skills.
