| Description: | An introduction to winter backcountry travel designed for women. One 4-hour evening class/pre-trip, planning session is required and reviews logistics, itinerary, clothing, and equipment. The 2-day (8a-5p) with 1 overnight hut trip focuses on group management, navigation, snow safety, travel techniques, and hut living in the winter environment.
