Q1 Answer: At Colorado Mountain College, if no grade option is selected, we assume that you want to receive a letter grade for the class you have registered for. For online registration, selecting "Register" automatically applies a letter grade as your Grade Option. Selecting Register Pass/Fail applies Pass/Fail as your Grade Option and selecting Audit applies Audit as your Grade Option. See Grading System and Options for more information.
|Question 2:||After I've selected all the classes I want to register for and they appear on my Preferred Sections list, is there an easier way to select an Action rather than selecting the drop-down menu provided by each class?||Return to Top|
Q2 Answer: Yes. If your Grade Option is the same option for all classes, just select the drill-down menu next to "Actions for ALL Pref. Sections (or choose below)" and choose your grade option. The Grade Option will be applied to all classes at one time. See Step 5 - How does Express Registration work? or Step 9 - How does Search and Register for Sections work? for more information based on the online registration option you have selected.
|Question 3:||If I select "Audit" as my grade option, does that mean I don't have to pay for the class? ||Return to Top|
Q3 Answer: No. You still must pay the same amount that would be due if you were taking this class for a letter grade.
|Question 4:||If I select to audit a class, what class credit is shown?||Return to Top|
Q4 Answer: The class credit is noted as "0" as you will not receive any credit on your transcript for attending the class.
|Question 5:||I selected the wrong Grade Option for a class. How do I change this?||Return to Top|
Q5 Answer: The easiest way to have this changed is to see the staff at the front desk. Some campuses have a form to complete. They will correct/change the record. This change cannot happen after the refund date for the course. You could drop the class and then re-register for it but if there are a limited number of seats available you may risk not getting registered for the class using this process.
