The site was the final resting place of 41 different kinds of Ice Age animals including mammoths, mastodons, giant bison and more. It is one of the most significant discoveries in North America. The Ice Age Discovery Center is located on the Snowmass Village Mall. Parking is provided in lots 4, 5, 8 and 9.
