We are excited to introduce to you Reach Your Peak Colorado, a project developed, by El Pomar Foundation’s Northwest Regional Council, to create a more effective educational pipeline from middle school and high school to post-secondary education, and to provide opportunities for as many students as possible who otherwise would not pursue higher education.
El Pomar Foundation’s Northwest Regional Council initiated the Reach Your Peak Colorado program to:
- Involve students in summer activities that are both fun and educational,
- Lead them to future learning options in high school, and
- Provide scholarships to help them attend one of the partner colleges.
Students who attend RYP summer camps and eventually take concurrent enrollment, AP or IB courses in high school, can apply for Reach Your Peak Colorado college scholarships to attend one of the partner colleges.
El Pomar’s partners include Western Colorado Community College, Colorado Mesa University, Colorado Northwestern Community College, and Colorado Mountain College, which have joined together to offer middle school summer camps that inspire students and spark interest in careers and college.
